thats a very sad news im reading the link you provided, would there be a list here of drives that are not smr?

i am encountering on WD60efax sata6gbs NXha500 Nasware 3.0 this drives are recommended on qnap but my project did not push thru since 4x6tb will only appear 12tb or less due to old qnap hardware limitation btw i tried just now a mock up trial 4x WD20EFRX as shr1 it could it 60-100 without problem

would it be possible to be bad even smart info`s statuses are ok, btw drives power on hours are very low 189-265 no records of error or ultra crc are found on all drives
