I got a strange Problem. The System Controll app on my DSM desktop is marked with a red dot and I can not start the app. Huge issue.
I run latest DSM 7.x via ARC. So, I try to ask here in a polite manner if I can force a reinstall of the latest .pat in order to repair this issue.
Despite that, I am happy for any other help and tip to get my DSM functional again.

I did a fresh install. However, my SSD isn't recogniszed in DSM. I got 3 SATA drives port 1, 2 and 3. The SSD is on port 5.
In RR I choose to use active ports. Well, what have I to choose or do to add my SSD also to DSM?

Since my bootloder flashdrive got faulty I needed to flash a new flashdrive with latest RedPill (I chose ARC) loader. This generates at least new mac for the nics and I think also a 'general id'. However, I cannot recover just migrate via Synology Assistant. But then I run into the error "Available system space is insufficient".
The only tip here seems to be until now to log into ssh. But that is in my case not possible. I think that I had terminal ssh active in options and I know that I changed the port that I still know but since DSM is not running I can not log in and 'clean stuff up'.
Is there no way I can recover my DSM via bootloader?

I got the same error message with latest ARC red pill loader.
I got a HP gen 8 and was running latest DSM but the sboot usb stick got faulty and I couldnt boot dsm anymore. So I got a new usb stick with 8gigs and etched the latest arc on it. Then I opted for DS3622sx and came to the point the installer told me to update or reinstall DSM
I thing it thinks its new hardware sicne I choose random MAC for my nics.
Anyway I cannot 'over' install the latest DSM .pat. I get the same error message as you did.
I need urgentliy some hints and help.

I run Jun's Bootloader 1.03b with DSM_RS3617xs_23739_DSM6.2 version of DSM on my HPE MicroServer Gen8 and I made two huge mistakes. First I addes Googles Auth as 2nd login and deactivated the standard admin acc and also SSL due to security reasons...
I got after two years a new smartphone (Android) and in the past I relied on the Migrate app and Googles app and data backup. BUT this time the Google Auth app was no more linked to my DSM!
Google wont help me though I have full access to my Google account. I also have ofcourse my DSM user credentials but I can not login in to DSM GUI since I can no more use the Gaoogle Auth app.
This is a catastrophe.
I am asking if there is a possibility to turn on SSH via bootloader so I could reset this Google Auth function via SSL. I found hints on the internet that is possible.
PS:
Yes, the DSM sends out the "I can not access" Email but I think I used a bogus email in DSM since I am running Expenology.
The default admin user is disabled, also is SSH and Telnet.
I did not try to use "resetuser=admin" on boot, since the system still runs fine and I can access most data via shares. But not all the docker settings etc.
Yes, Hyperbackup runs and backups DSM settings and docker settings but before I start from scrath and try to reimport all I want to ask if there is another way.

I setup up with this forum's help a HP Gen8 three years ago.
I secured my NAS via disabling ! SSL and changing SSL port, via disabling standard admin user and creating a new one and via damn Google Auth app.
My problem is that I got a new phone and tested a new firmware on my old one and that I forgot about the Auth app.
I reinstalled it on the new and old android but though I set it up via my google account it does not generate anymore the codes for my DSM!
It only shows them for my google account.
I still have of course the credentials for my DSM admin acc but I cannot log in since I can not get anymore the Google Auth code :(
This is behind my knowledge and I do not understand fully why Google Auth does not back up my NAS settings so I can install the app on a new phone, link it to my google acc and all is fine....
So, I read if I would have standard Synology device I could hit a soft rest button...
I have a nice HP Gen8 .... with Jun's Loader (DSM 6.x) .03 I think. I could check this I a attach a monitor to the nas anyway. I run die to Synology Assistant 6.2-23739 DS3617xs
My question is if the boot loader does have the functionality to enable SSL so I could try to delete the settings for google auth? I found hints on this on the web so I could log in via normal pw user only.
Is there any hope?
I get gray hairs about thinking to reinstall all again :( despite the fact I have daily backups of my files and app and docker settings (I am in deep doubt that I could reinstall all flawlessly via this HyperBackup.

Since my old Fritzbox I used with openwrt and wireguard went to oblivion I want to make use of wiregiard on my xpenology (HP54NL), too.
The docker solution of https://github.com/runfalk/synology-wireguard sounds promising. But since it is a bit behind my horizon I would like to know what you think about it and if you got things nicely running before I start digging into it.

I am with Xpenology for one day and I wonder if I can reactivate the C-states in bios after setting up DSM6.2x with loader 1.03b on my HP 54NL with biggest Xenon CPU. If that is ok than it should make more sense on limmiting heat expense, noise and energy?
PS:
I hit the full power button in config/power in the GUI and can not deactivate it. Is there a config file I could edit to go back to conservative if it is respected at all since DSM does not know my HP hardware.

I really need to know that the proper "power settings" in ILO for the NL54 Gen8 microserver are if I run Xpenology 6.2x via loader.
If I set OS Control Mode in ILO it will result in 42% fan speed when Xpenelogogy is loaded and running.
If set to HP Dynamic Power Savings Mode does not change anything I noticed? Should there be a better way to use OS controlled and set up Diskstation to use less power if possible (idle time)?
PS:
I activated in Diskstation/Powercontrol "max fans" and can not deactivate it any more with a mouse click :/ is there a known way to SSH set this setting?

I had the same problem with "Image may be corrupt" with my HP Gen10 microserver but I do not think that I habe a Raid Controller.
Last I tried, was 5 arround christmas 2023 with ARC and couldn't get the issue solved.
Did you find a way to use ARC with Gen8 microserver?
