DSM: DSM 6.1.4-15217 Update 5
Model: DS3617xs
Hardware: ASROCK Q1900-ITX, 4GB RAM
Install Type: Baremetal
NIC Model: Intel E1000
Storage: HighPoint RocketRAID 2720SGL
Issue: You are not authorized to use this service.
I have 2 disks on mainboard and 3 disks on the HP RR 2720SGL.
With the original extra.lzma the 3 disks are not detected. So i read a little bit in this great forum and found an thread where i downloaded extra3617_v4.5 because on user had the same problem with not detected disks with these controller.
original lzma

extra3617_v4.5
lspci -k | grep 'Kernel driver'
Kernel driver in use: ahci
Kernel driver in use: xhci_hcd
Kernel driver in use: pcieport
Kernel driver in use: pcieport
Kernel driver in use: pcieport
Kernel driver in use: pcieport
Kernel driver in use: mvsas
Kernel driver in use: e1000e
Kernel driver in use: r8168
It seems the mvsas makes the difference.
With the original lzma only my 2 drives are detected and all is fine over days.
With the extra lzma all drives are detected but 1-2 per hour i got the message in the web gui "You are not authorized to use this service. " and the logs say Improper shutdown.
When this happend all services are down. Unfortunately i cant say if the synology really reboot.
1 Note: During the installation i went into an mistake. I didn't know my mac from the e1000 and i thought i boot up the synology and show in the info tab. The MAC in the info tab is a synology mac. I changed the grub during boot on the command line. Yesterday i noticed these mistake and i corrected my mistake and changed also in the grub.
But unfortunately these helped not and the improper shutdown comes again and again.
I hope someone can give me some hints.
