Hi,
I have 2 LSI 9211 SAS cards and drives connected to SAS cards in nanoboot 5.0.2.2 are not being detect.
Check dmesg, and see if you're getting same errors in the pics I posted a few posts back.
Can you help me to test it? I will send a test firmware for you.

Nanoboot 5.0.2.2 broke my network connection just like gnoBoot, on a Gigabyte GA-H87M-HD3 which has a Realtek 8111F NIC.
gnoboot-alpha-10.5 loads r8168 (v8.037?), LAN disconnects unless ethernet cable is unplugged and reinserted
Nanoboot 5.0.2.1 loads r8169, no LAN problems
Nanoboot 5.0.2.2 loads r8168 (v8.038), LAN disconnects unless ethernet cable is unplugged and reinserted
Tried rmmod=r8168 inmod=r8169_new, no LAN connectivity at all.
Is "insmod" instead "inmod", try again.

Because the synobios file gnoboot using is extracted from DSM 4.3, So it can not display the number of CPU cores.

You're right, I was just replaces the files during the boot, I can't really break it.

I'm pretty sure rmmod doesn't work in nanoboot. He said it should work, but it doesn't. I been using gnoboot since the beginning, so I'm 99.99% sure that I'm not doing something wrong and that it is broken.
It's my fault, I put ata_piix compiled into the kernel, and not as a module, so "rmmod=ata_piix" does not work.
I will fix this problem in the next version, thanks for your feedback.

NanoBoot 5.0.2.1 support the use of origin pat file to install, does not require a modified pat file.

no NIC drivers for my ASUS P5E WS PRO <--- 64 bits version
Marvell :
03:00.0 Class 0200: Device 11ab:4364 (rev 12)
04:00.0 Class 0200: Device 11ab:4364 (rev 12)
Sorry, but the next version will add the Marvell drivers.

I can't get any sort of download links from http://nanoboot.tk/. http://www.colafile.com/u/sancome comes up as a not online, or an actual site.
Does anyone have a link to the latest version that isn't on a crappy file sharing site with a million hoops to jump through?
i cant download either to try it out. seems that link needs vip account to download
It's free, but it seems relatively slow access from abroad.

is there any way to unload modules like gnoboot, or just remove them?
I tried adding rmmod=ata_piix to kernel boot parameters, but it still loaded.
This parameter is working, it will be loaded first, and then unload the module.

NanoBoot 5.0.2.1 has been released, support the installation DSM 5.0-4482, thank @Vortex for his sharing.

No need to replace "lspci", no different in 4458 and 4482.

Sorry for my poor English, I will try to update the information posted here.
NanoBoot's Chinese website is: http://nanoboot.tk
If your native language is English, Please visit the following URL:
http://translate.google.com/translate?h ... boot.tk%2F
I'm working on 5.0-4482, prior to this, we need to solve the verification problem.

Qnology have the same problem.

I see the following steps, do you required it?
5)Copy firmware file dvb-fe-ds300x.fw and dvb-fe-ds3103.fw to /Lib/Firmware
directory. Firmware file can be downloaded from support web page in
http://www.dvbsky.net. Unzip it then copy files.
