im trying to install for the first time. I am following along with the guide @ http://xpenology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=17 Between steps 5 and 6 im missing something. As i boot from the usb i get to a command line "diskstation login:" step 6 says i need to download and install the synology assistant. how do i get past the diskstation login prompt? Thanks

im new to xpenology as well as plex server. im wanting to build a xpenology server with roughly 6TB of storage as well as run a plex server and also hoping to be able to run a virtual windows server which i host a small non profit that might get 10 web views a day and exchange for 3 staff. does anyone have suggestions as far as what hardware i should be getting? i was hoping to stay in the i7 family of processors only because of power consumption. currently i have been using windows media center with a separate nas server and a separate pc that runs the nonprofit.
