Im not using ssds but they would at least be closer to 50 mb/s than the 10.

Hi all, just started with xpenology on esxi. But I only get transfer speeds of about 10MB/s. Hardware: i5-4670T, Z87, 16GB ram. Gigabit wired network. Connected to a i7-930 with gigabit nw. Running with virtual disks on four different harddrives. I must be able to get more speed out of this than those 10????

Hi all, maybe a stupid question (hope not) but WHY install with ESXi instead of just directly on the server? Will everything work the same with ESXi? Like remote access via internet. Plex. etc.
