However, I just discover that the motherboard in fact do not support raid. Wanna know if raid could be done in DSM without hardware support, if I am going to install two 2TB hdd into my machine and wish to raid as SHR. Thanks all! Your motherboard don't need to support raid, it's all done in the DSM software. So you just carry on and install your 2 disks and put them in a raid as you wish.
