DSM 7.1 Upgrade Failure

Hi All,

I was upgrading from 6.1 to 7.1 and was at the stage of migratable. I tried installing DSM Pat file but at about 57% I was getting the error:

Failed to Install DSM

Failed to install file. The file is probably corrupted.

I tried re creating the boot loader to start again, however this time when I have booted it's showing as not installed. I've tried going back to the old USB stick and that now shows 'Configuration Lost' as the status.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this? It says I can re install DSM without losing my data, but I am not sure exactly which DSM 6.1 version I was on. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I installed the latest version of 6.1.7 and it has worked ok, I am back online with access to data. However all configuration is gone, installed apps etc. I had a few built in apps, then docker with some other things running within it. I backed up the DSM config before I tried to upgrade, but restoring that hasn't restored what was installed before. Is there an easy way to get Docker and surveillance station back to the same config they were from the files that have been left behind? I'd like to try and get at least to where I was before and then work out how I can upgrade safely.

Thanks
