It has to boot from the XPEnoboot every time or else it wont work.

XPEnoboot emulates the flashrom in a genuine Synology.

I found the article posted here viewtopic.php?p=31711 useful, for the most recent upgrade I didn't change the image and it seems to work fine.

It is working. But under no circumstances work to the latest version ! I only was able to go until 5065. After that not working anymore.

 

I suppose that XPEnoboot need it for booting latest version need an update.

Hello,

 

I try to instal DSM 5.2 on a HP microserver !

 

HP config:

 

Intel® Celeron® G1610T (2 core, 2.3 GHz, 2MB, 35W)

2 X 4 GB HP mem

1 X 160 GB HDD for testing..

 

What i did.

 

I installed ESXI 5.0

I made a virtual machine with 2 cores of the procesors 4 gb ram and 50 gb space.

 

I put Xenoboot XPEnoboot_DS3615xs_5.2-5565.2 and boot...

I load DSM_DS3615xs_5565 !

 

Looks like image is loading and after install says something like reseting ... a counter appear ! 10 MIN to wait.

 

After those 10 min nothing happening. I`m not able to connect to the VM and browser is not loading anyting.

 

I reboot the vm.

 

Same shit.

 

I did something wrong?

 

Any opinion information.... anyone ?
