I'd like to run DS Audio on my android phone but it looks like I need to register the Syno device in order to get a login ID. Is there away around this or is this the limitation of putting DSM on a Proliant?
Synology registration is free and convenient dynamic DNS service. You can use any other supported DDNS services instead to find your DS from the internet and forward appropriate ports on your home firewall.
As an alternative, you can run Plex Server on your Syno and port forward an open port on your router.
I'm streaming my entire Audio/Video collection flawlessly to all my mobile devices.

Another happy and successful N54L install. I'm grateful for the awesome guides and files found in this forum.
My SynoBeast is scrubbing now and transferring my videos collection. Where can I find third party packages like Sabnzd, CouchPotato and Sickbeard? Also is the N54L processor powerful enough to host Plex server? Or am best running that on my Quad core Q6600 desktop?
