Only DSM 7.2 does not use Docker anymore...
It is named Container now
Any hicups there .... ???
No, not at all. All containers were transfered automatically to the new application. The UI is a bit different, but you quickly get used to it.

I am a newbie to installing this the fbelavenuto v1.1-beta had screen shot on how to use the install.
There are tons of youtube videos out there explaining the whole process. It's rather simple

When you say everything was retained
You also mean your dockers (images) and stuff like that
Yes correct - as if it was just a DSM update. But your milage may differ

Hi all,
I used this loader as it was suggested in the FAQ and managed to do a baremetal installation on a Ryzen PC. I configured everything and the NAS works nicely incl. some Docker containers. However I'm still on DSM 7.1.1 and I'm wondering if I can just simply update to DSM 7.2 through the GUI.
Should I migrate to Arc? And if so: is there a way to retain the current installation
Nevermind - I took the usb stick, threw the ARC loader on it and after building the loader and starting DSM for the first time, it asked me if I want to keep all files and settings.
After that I was greeted with the updated DSM screen and everything was retained. Nice
Please update the FAQ section - new users are being sent here to the outdated and unmaintained loader.

The Nic-RTL8125B with the red heatsink (as there are multiple there.
Only really useful if you have moved to SSD's.
May I ask: Did you add it as an upgrade, or did you have to reinstall Xpenology? Which driver/package have you used?

Where did you find the scaler addon for ARC? Could not find it on the original GIT
