    me too, the same situaltion, don't know why have this result?

     

    firstly ran the script show "Patching, MD5 mismatch", uninstall the AME and reinstall it;

    ran script again, show "Patching, Checking whether patch is successful..., Patch is unsuccessful, retcode = 256"

     

    *PS. DSM7.2 6457 update-1

            DS36212xs+

            arpl-i18n 23.6.8 loader, with real ds3622xs+ sn & mac (command line entered 5 mac address, netif_num=5, same setup as official)

            this sn/mac can register on synology.com ok (but I use ddns-go instead of QC due to speed reason)

    - Additional comments: Rebuilt the bootloader (edit Sn, Mac1), compile and reboot, then installed DSM (.pat)

       brandnew install DSM7.0.1-42218 
    - Loader version and model: 

       tossp/redpill-tool-chain 7.0.1-42218 - DS3622xs+
    - Using custom extra.lzma: NO 


    - Installation type: BAREMETAL

       Supermicro X11 SSH-LN4F

       E3-1260L v5

       Samsung udimm ECC 16G

     

    - Step :

       1st install 7.0.1-42218

       2nd updated to 7.1.0-42661-up1/up2/up3 via GUI

     

    - Additional comments: 

      16G MLC usb = synoboot

      SSD Intel S3710 100G = software and docker

      2TBx4 Raid5 = PT download

      5TBx1 = files 

      2TBx2 Raid1 = most important files backup
