Update from Gnoboot 10.5 on Hyper-V VM yesterday evening without any issues. Works like a charm now with 4482 update.
Thanks Nanoboot

Just compiled Transmission for Bromolow and uploaded to the directory mentioned below!
Thank you again! You made my day

I have compiled for Bromolow (I use HP N40L with AMD CPU) and that is working fine.
AMAZING! You're the best.
I will take it tonight from home.
If you have transmission, I would be interested as well.
Thanks again!

On my side I'm actively working on the new repo and I'll push it to GitHub (spkrepo) as soon as I get most of the features working. ETA is 2-3 days.

If people are interested I compiled the SPKs from the most used packages of SynoCommunity for myself so I can share them.
If you can share I will honour you until the end of time.
Hope you compiled for amd64 cpu...

How do you know they're migrating ?
I saw in a forum that they said they're migrating and it can take few weeks
-
Yeah this is unfortunate -_- i don't feel to good about adding all these other random sources to be honest
Same for me, I dont want to add only issues cause of bad packages. I didn't find any communications about synocommunity migration length...
-
Synocommunity seems to migrate their servers and I cannot add any packages.
Do you have some backup repository where I could DL synocommunity packages?
I tried the packages from Super Zebulon but they cannot run... Before to move from ESXI to HyperV, Synocommunity packages were working fine.
Thanks!

Hi,
I installed DSM 5 in Hyper-V VM (2012 R2) and it works perfectly fine. I did it simple by just booting on the Gnoboot 10.5 ISO and keep mounted in DVD drive. You just add have to setup a Gen1 VM, not a Gen2. I pushed update 1 and then update 2 without any issues following the instructions (sed command).
I just need a confirmation from experts.. I would like to add a serial number but I cannot find any vendor file. Should I browse the ISO image to find the file and update it? After it I compile the new ISO and it works?
Thanks for enlighten me.
And sorry for my French English

Now I updated my gnoboot with nanoboot using the same way of working. Just boot on the ISO, I updated with .pat directly from Synology. You can change SN by editing the ISO file and linuxcfg.cfg.
