In you OVA file the synoboot.vmdk drive is SATA..

 

I have problem to add SATA drive in vsphere client.. But is web vsphere is possibel...

I have only needed to recreate a new virtual machine. The loader refuses to boot after select ESXi in the menu. I do not know why and the file wich map the serial port does not have any information anymore. But whith a new VM all it's OK! The upgrade has taken only 7 minutes and all my data seems to be ok
