you can find out yourself if your hardware is working by having a look in the update report section

    https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/29401-dsm-623-25426/

the hardware is pretty common, i guess you will find some people having successfully updated to 6.2.3

you dont need any additional drivers with loader 1.03b and dsm 6.2.3 your system should work ootb

Thank you very much appreciate the information!

  2. Hi all,

First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong section for asking a question... if it is sorry and if someone lets me know where i should ask then i will ask there.

I currently have DSM 6.1.7-15284 Update 3 running on a HP Gen8... and i only had important updates in my update settings so i since changed to show all and now saying there is DSM 6.2.3-25426 to update to. Is it safe to update to this? I cannot not remember what loader i used to install but im pretty sure its Juns one.

    Thanks in advance.

Enable SSH then use something like putty to access the server, then run the command. If you get a permission error add sudo -i before the command.

Thanks for the reply. I ssh'd into the my server but not sure where to run the command! I tried running it and it just said command not found? Sorry abit of a noob in this area!
