Is it possible to use a Ati or NVidia GPU to assist XPenology in video stream?

 

I have a Microserver Gen8 with a PCIeX16 slot suitable for a low profile videocard.

Ok SOLVED!

 

The line was at the end of the synoinfo.config file. I didn't look well. I'm a NOOB!

In order to edit a file you need to use an editor (program) like "vi" or "nano" (for linux) or "notepad+" (for windows)

I found out how to do it and i did it.

 

But it doesn't work.

 

I installed DSM 6.0.2 and the 8th update. I used Jun install.

 

When i edited the synoinfo.conf file the supportraidgroup="yes" line was missing (not a big deal since i had to delete it) and i add support_syno_hybrid_raid="yes" line somewhere.

 

I assume the position of the line is not the problem.

 

Any idea?

to edit synoinfo.conf you must ssh and then follow this to enable SHR with sudo:

 

edit /etc.defaults/synoinfo.conf

comment out/delete

CODE: SELECT ALL

supportraidgroup="yes"

 

then add

CODE: SELECT ALL

support_syno_hybrid_raid="yes"

Hi (again),

 

My HP Microserver Gen8 is disconnecting at the first installation process restart.

 

I can't reconnect in regular system start mode but only in re-install mode.

 

I can't achieve the install.

 

EDIT:

 

I found out to do it, i noted the during install DHCP address et used it after restart. Even if Synology assistant is unabled to find my Proliant my internet browser did usinf that DHCP installation address. Maybe a grub MAC addres issue. SOLVED

 

Now my issue is that i'unable to connect with my Admin account.

 

I clean my flashdrive and redo it from scratch, copying the DHCP adress during install and it worked. SOLVED

Does anyone has the Jun's official v.1.01 loader? The Mega server is down and the mirror link just targets the DSM file.
