I'm just getting into this myself and have got 2 xpenology VMs running on an ESXI host using virtual drives just for a lab environment. I was thinking about trying to contribute, as i think this project is great, and lets me perform testing at home in my virtual lab rather than having to test with real NASs. Is http://xpenology.com/wiki/en/building_xpenology what i would need to do except with the DSM 6 toolchain? or is it not that simple. I have programming (C++, java, etc...).
