Hi quicknick, in the network drivers you listed virtio_net support but if I use a virtio network interface the DSM is no longer reachable.

With e1000 interface all is working good, but also very slow (300mbit instead of 1gbit)

Will look into it. Slow e1000 speed also exists in jun's loader.

Yes, same speed for e1000 in your and jun's.

What about VirtIO drivers?

 

i mean virtio harddrive drivers etc

 

I wish to use xpenology with my virtual machine but i cannot mount over 4 devices with ide drivers

 

but i try to use virtio then xpenology cannot find any drives/disks

Actually, the drivers ARE present and loaded at boot. In fact you can find your drives in /dev/vd(x) but the dsm won't recognize them.

 

By the way, thanks to XPenology Team for the awesome job they do!
