Yes. Starwind V2V Converter works. You can boot with Hyper-V, but it hangs because of no network drivers...

  3. Hi,

I have installed XPEnology on an Gigabyte G33m-DS2R with an Intel Pro NIC and a LSI 9240-8i with 8 JBOD Drives.

The Smart Data in DSM is shown for the Intel ICHR (4x SATA) and the Marvell (2x SATA) Sata Controller of the Gigabyte Board. Everything's works fine.

The LSI 9240-8i works fine. Edited the Synoinfo, because of more than 12 drives. But in DSM the Smart Data isn't shown anything.

But with telnet the smartctrl can show me everything for any HDD.

Why doesn't it work within DSM, is there a Fix to see the smart data.

    Best regards

  4. I get an Error 500 with beta7:

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, admin and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Where can I find a log of this? Is there a possibility to find the mistake?

  5. I have an Gigabyte G33-DS2R and the 4x ICH9R Sata Ports works fine with 2x 1.5TB Seagate HDDs.

Problem, I have 4x 500GB Sata HDD and when I connect to the Sata Ports:

    ICH9R: 4x 500GB HDD

    JMicron: 2x 1,5TB HDD

I boot and it works fine. I create the two volumes and after 10min, I cant ping the XPEnology. The System is up, but it doesnt recognize.

I can reset, power off, power on and max 10min the system is up.

With only 2x 1,5TB it works fine.

    Hope somebody help.

My Promise SuperTrak Raid Controller doesnt work.

  6. I upgrade/Flash new my XPEnology and everything works but after 2-3hours the Webinterface isnt available and the system is dead.

    My Hardware:

    Gigabyte G33M-DS2R

    Intel E2220

    4GB DD2 Ram

    4x Seagare 7200.12 500GB, 2x 1.5TB Seagate 7200.12

    Intel PT 1000pro

edit: The System is still up, but I think the NIC is shutting down.

    New Info:

I have flashed the USB Stick again. Boot it and close the Webbrowser...after 10-15min the DiskStation isnt available.

Now I havent close Firefox and the system is now 6h up and everything works. I dont know what this is.

On the DiskStation the Surveillance Station is installed and is recording, so the hibernation cant shut the system down.

  7. Sorry! The VisualStation is an Client for the Surveillance Station and your IP Cameras.

With DiskStation you can use Surveillance Station to record your IP Cams and with the WebInterface on a Computer you can see them.

The VisualStation has HDMI Out to connect an TV, Monitor to show the IP Cams without an PC!

    Here: http://www.synology.com/products/produc ... me=VS240HD

The Firmware is in the downloads too as an .pat

Maybe someone have to modify the .img to boot an PC to use it.
