I updated to DSM_DS3617xs_24922 then reboot but I did not connect later (Loader 1.03b for DS3617xs).
I reconfigured USB drive with 3617xs again. Then I reinstalled 1.03b then migrated it. It rebooted then succesfull message but I can not access again.
Last chance I installed ds3615_6.2_1.03b to USB Drive. I choose clean installation: keep my files only (manual file: DSM_DS3615xs_24922.pat). It' s finishing to install with success but I can not find my NAS.Any idea?

Updated DS3615xs on bare metal with success.

Gen8 using 1.02a2 DS36157xs put the VID, PID, SN generator and MAC into grub.cfg using blank drives I keep getting error 13.
1.02a works with same grub settings but DS3615xs loader + PAT.
Same result here.

You should use the DS3615xs files instead, that worked for me. For DS3617xs you also need a different S/N and MAC.
I am using S/N for DS3617xs from here (https://xpenology.github.io/serial_gene ... r_new.html). But I can not change MAC addresses. Because I am using baremetal.
If are you sure it will not work as a DS3617xs; I will back to DS3615xs. So I've wasted time.

I installed same pid/vid (same flashdisk) as a 3615xs. But 3617xs does not installing.

You cant switch from ds3615xs to ds3617xs without fresh install. Those hardware are not compatible, different architecture.

I am using baremetal and HP microserver gen8
I deleted all partitions with partition magic. It' s coming with new disks first attemp on "find.synology.com". But I am always getting "error 13".
I tried "DS3617xs 6.1 Jun's Mod V1.02-alpha" with "DSM_DS3617xs_15047.pat" or "v1.02a2" with "DSM_DS3617xs_15101.pat". Does not matter. Always same error.
Any idea?

Interesting. I am on Gen8 Microserver, ESXi 6.0, tried both DS3615xs 1.02a and DS3617xs 1.02a2, neither worked, both produce error 13.
I forgot to say "I am using Bare Metal" with new installation.

Yes, I am using bare metal and same result. So that' s not only mine problem. May be it will fix soon.

Firstly thanks for support here.
I had ESXi 6.5 and 5.2 version of DSM on HP Microserver Gen8. 1x 120 GB SSD, 4x 3 TB seagate NAS hdd (RDM).
I tried to install loader 1.02a2 (DS3617xs) and DSM 6.1.1_15101. But I get always "error 13".
But I installed loader 1.02a (DS3615xs) and DSM 6.1_15047. This is working with my all data.
I am using 8 GB SDCard for loader. I tried same SDcard for install. (I switched Bare Metal)
Why did not install loader 1.02a2 (DS3617xs) and DSM 6.1.1_15101 ?
