  • 3 weeks later...

only thing i can see that "syno_ahci_disk_led_enable" comes from libahci.c so the crash seems ahci related and that is part of the precompiled original synology kernel

the board seems to be widely used here with the 916+ image so we can rule out a general incompatibility

check ram with ram test of a bootable linux disk

maybe try different cable and disk?

i realise you may want the 916/3455 Cpu features, but a test of this image might show the same errors or none, so pointing to a hardware issue

i've been running the 3615 6.1 image on a 3455m flawlessly for over a year.

Strange thing is that @nevusZ (see 3 posts above) has the same board and it works for him with the 916+ loader. :35_thinking:

My mistake;) I try 3615/3617 and works flawlessly. But I wanted to use hw transcoding. @nevusZ have ASROCK J-3455-ITX (4xSATA3, M.2 socket), mine motherboard (J3455B-ITX) have only 2xSATA without M.2. I suppose it's different here.

Perhaps that might be it. Stick to 3615xs it's the most used loader by members and works fine.
