mark0x01 Posted January 21, 2018 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2018 It would be useful if the loader boot banner test could include it's version. Could this "feature" be added ? Mark.
0 Polanskiman Posted January 21, 2018 Share #2 Posted January 21, 2018 The loader version is mentioned in the Grub menu. If you really want to have the loader version shown in the last updated screen you could simply edit the info.txt file located in the secondary partition of the loader where the extra.lzma ramdisk is located. You can put whatever you want there but to keep things fair you should at least leave the mention: "This mod is brought to you by Jun ..." 0 itGeeks Posted January 21, 2018 Share #3 Posted January 21, 2018 That's a great idea but how would this work on a bare metal install?
0 Polanskiman Posted January 22, 2018 Share #4 Posted January 22, 2018 Not sure what you mean. Please be more explicit. The explanation I gave is platform independent. It works on Vm/bare-metal.
