DonnnyD Posted January 12, 2018 Share #1 Posted January 12, 2018 Hello, System: Bare metal Xpenology 6.1.4 Update 1 w/ Jun v1.02b Asus P10S-M WS Intel Xeon E3-1245 V5 2x8GB Crucial ECC Un-buffered Intel X540-T2 (Installed but not in use yet) I've searched the forum and can't find my same issue. I had 6.1.4 update 1 working, but then got cocky and decided to update to update 5. After reboot I had "LZMA data is corrupt -- System halted" I would love to keep my data (even though I have a backup). Any ideas about what I can do? Thanks! Dfds Posted January 12, 2018 Share #2 Posted January 12, 2018 Sounds like a problem with the USB drive, have you tried creating a new USB drive & booting from that?
DonnnyD Posted January 12, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted January 12, 2018 No, I haven't tried that yet. By creating a new USB drive, do you mean copying the same files to another stick, or starting with a new installation with new files? Thank you so much
Dfds Posted January 13, 2018 Share #4 Posted January 13, 2018 Yes I mean starting afresh by creating a new USB drive with Win32DiskImager & a fresh copy of jun's 1.02b loader & don't forget to set the correct vid & pid for the new drive.
