SynoPlex Posted December 24, 2017 #1 Posted December 24, 2017 After installing update on my virtual test environment, I no longer see it on the network. Haven't tried it on my bare metal since the test environment did not pass the test. Dennis Quote
Bose321 Posted March 29, 2018 #2 Posted March 29, 2018 Same here on my production VM with DSM 6.1.6-15266. Any solution? Quote
flyride Posted March 29, 2018 #3 Posted March 29, 2018 I'm seeing a problem where both the boot loader and the boot drive are corrupted by the upgrade. Tried a few times, each with the same results. But I realized that somewhere along the line, I accidentally substituted my production boot loader so that two serial numbers were active on the network at the same time, and I am wondering if maybe that is the issue. I will test later today to prove or disprove this idea. But is a duplicate serial number on the same network a possibility for you? Quote
flyride Posted March 29, 2018 #4 Posted March 29, 2018 Verified unique serial and mac address and repeated the test, but it still fails so far. Quote

polanskiman Posted March 30, 2018 #6 Posted March 30, 2018 I doubt the loader is corrupt. Problem is coming most certainly from a module in the loader. Quote
