Fixed Issues

Fixed multiple security vulnerabilities regarding WPA/WPA2 protocols for wireless connections (CVE-2017-13077, CVE-2017-13078, CVE-2017-13079, CVE-2017-13080, CVE-2017-13081, CVE-2017-13082, CVE-2017-13084, CVE-2017-13086, CVE-2017-13087, CVE-2017-13088).

edit - all working well so far. and i got an updated LMS at the same time.

happy :)

considering the nature of the patch, i doubt syno had time to include any trickyness in this release

update from GUI - perfect + restart. from 7 to 8 and from 5 to 8

 

Bare metal  - ok

vm - esx 6 + esx 6.5 - ok

Downloaded this update about 10 mins ago and installed on my xP3615xs baremetal. No dramas, install went to plan and system was back up and functioning normally within 6 minutes of the restart commencing.

I think i will leave out this update since my xpenology boxes are all on LAN not wireless.

Does anyone use xpenology over wireless?

 

BTW: synology is really fast deploying updates! the enterprise wireless in my company has not got the KRACK update yet^^

Jun's loader 1.02b booting from internal USB

HP RAID Controller in AHCI Mode.

Web GUI update without any issues.

GUI update from 6 --> 8

 

Up for about half an hour and everything looks fine

update successful, but some problems started the next day, not likely to be caused by the update

HP N54L with LSI 9260-CV upgraded from 6.0.2 U11 to 6.1.3-15152 U8 without any issue. All OK included the generic USB ups that not works with  the 6.0.2 version.

With what Loader? I'm trying Jun's Loader 1.06b here and my n54l is not found in the network, whatever I do!   :?

I'm using Jun's 1.02b loader.

Same here. Modified with proper MAC & IDs, Memory line updated and different DS S/Ns tried... but no use. Must be something else then. Gosh... there is always something!
