Virtual Machine Manager can not start VM's

Hi,

did anybody manage to start a VM from the Synology Virtual Machine Manager?

Im on Junes 1.02b @DSM 6.1.3-15152 Update 4.

Tried it with an N54L and an intel xeon custom build (bare metal).

On both maschines, i couldnt start any created VM.

On N54L the message is not enough memory (have 8GB installed) on the Xeon build it only says

that starting the VM failed.

Would be soooo awesome to get this work.

Any information about that would be apriciated :-)

TIA,

the Wurst

I tried it aswell on N54L with AMD processor. Can somebody tell me how to uninstall the package on command-line, because on the webgui it won't uninstall.

It tells me to delete the host, before uninstalling, but the host can't be deleted because vm's are still running. When i look up the vm's no one is running, because of the same reasons above.

For remove the package you need to access via ssh to the  NAS

the command I used to break the cluster so it can be removed is in this folder;

/volume1/@appstore/Virtualization/bin     (In this case is the volume where it's installed the VMM)

execute:     ./etcdctl member list

copy the ID

execute:  ./etcdctl member remove ID

I have created a VM, but I can't start it, because of "insufficient memory" (s. image)

I'm using jun's loader (v1.02b, ds3617xs) - with the extra.lzma ramdisk (this one)

What do I have to do, to get this running?

My system:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600

32 GB RAM

Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac

3 x 3TB Western Digital Red

Have a look at this post:

disable_mtrr_trim

Example:

set common_args_3617='disable_mtrr_trim syno_hdd_powerup_seq=0 HddHotplug=0 syno_hw_version=DS3617xs vender_format_version=2 console=ttyS0,115200n8 withefi elevator=elevator quiet syno_port_thaw=1'

and for the amd system use better virtualbox plugin instead of virtualmaschine Manager ! attached

and the 3615 loader seems more stable

Adding disable_mtrr_trim and disabling the C1 in the Bios didn't helped... - What can I try next?

I can see that there is enough RAM available on my DSM...
