NoFate Posted September 16, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 16, 2017 hey i am playing around with 5.2 in ESX, i am going to update to 6.1 , i will start with a clean VM, probably the DSM software will be replaced on all raid/disks but what if i am not happy with 6.1 and want to go back to my 5.2 VM can i just boot it up again, when i attach the controller that i passthrough because if i fireup 5.2 with this file again = XPEnoboot_DS3615xs_5.2-5967.1 , it will notice that DSM 6.1 was installed so, how can i downgrade in an ESX system from 6.1 to 5.2 without loosing data? thnx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
