I know in case of normal synology, I can easly press reset button bhind of synology, but what am I supposed to do in XPenology? anybody knows how to find my password or reset it? I need data in recycle so bad. I have been tried reinstall booting but it doesnt reset admin password. I cant access xpenology by admin account. please help!! XT-1000 Posted December 6, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 6, 2013 Make bootable usb with image of previous xpenology version, reboot PC with it and try to setup previous .pat file with Synology Assistant. You can't to setup it, but this procedure reset your admin password. After that make usb image with an actual version and install it.
