tobymcclash Posted August 5, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 5, 2017 Hi guys. I have just installed my Xpenology, but i can't remote access it. I have a DDNS added under external access and it says status OK, but i can't access it and i can't add a 'let's encrypt - certificate' either. I'm thinking it might be something with port forwarding, but i have tried to DMZ it (exposed host) without succes. man, i hate networking
Polanskiman Posted August 6, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 6, 2017 Make sure you port forwarded the specific ports on your router. For let's encrypt since you are not giving any error message it's hard to help. Give more information please. As a starter you need to make sure both port 80 and 443 are opened (specially port 80) in order for let's encrypt to make the initial request else you won't be able to apply for a certificate.
