Hi,

 

please advice, i have a HP server ml350 g5, i need to set it up as a proxy and web filter server "like ISA" , so which release i need to install.

That sounds like a way different use than as a NAS, as XPEnology is supposed to be.

There might be some Syno packages that could be used,

but if this will be the "only" thing your server will be used for, maybe IPFire would be what you are looking for?
