i was going to do on my real Synology but bi mistake upgrade one of my XPnology bare metal lucky me it works.

i have 2 XPenology did the upgrade this morning with no problem

bare metal setup.

I'm on update 2 and keeping a close eye on mine. Still tweaking a few things and looking at the hardware side - disk write caching etc so I can work out if I need to change any hardware (Mine is bare metal).
