Package Centre - Connection Failed

Since yesterday, I have been unable to connect to the Package Centre - I get "Connection Failed. Please check your network settings".

 

Please can anyone confirm whether they are able to connect - as I suspect it might be something at Synology's end.

 

If not, does anyone have any ideas what could have happened and how I can fix it.

package centre seems to be working ok

 

interesting too that for the last couple of days I've been getting a system event that music and videos wont play because of an unactivated codec (even though I dont play stuff through DSM players) and that has stopped too.

 

I wonder if there is some data on DSM setups being sent to Synology and because their servers were down its caused that error too?
