No sickbeard on dsm 6.0

Well I've just updated to 6.0 and I have sickbeard custom (which is running sick rage) but I just want my old sickbeard back any ideas.

The syno community packages aren't great on dsm 6. You'll have to play around with the permissions in order to get it to work. Can't remember the details as I've personally switched to Docker. I highly recommend you to do the same. The LinuxServer docker images are great and easy to configure.

EDIT: Sorry, i misread you.. anyways, why would u want an old package? Sickrage is developed actively! and much much better!

 

no need, i got sickrage (much better then sickbeard) running on dsm 6.

 

Add custom sickbeard and paste the git url..

I had to edit the start stop script to run as root:

 

edit this file:

 

/var/packages/sickbeard-custom/scripts/start-stop-status

 

and replace the user with root

 

USER="root"
