neco Posted February 17 #1 Posted February 17 The screen freezes and I proceed. Cannot find in find. I cannot find it even if I enter the ip address. Rebooting was pointless. I've reinstalled and re-installed the ISO. Quote
Trabalhador Anonimo Posted February 17 #2 Posted February 17 The IP can change randomly. Try to use Advanced IP scanner. Have you tried another loader, like m-shell? Quote

blindspot Posted February 17 #6 Posted February 17 (edited) Hi. Your LAN has Killer E2500 Gigabit LAN controller and may not be supported. Use one with Realtek or Intel chipset or install Proxmox and make VM with your disk passthrough. After the loader initializes DMS loading process, you wont see any more messages on the screen, only on serial port. This is normal behavior. Also check your router web page in DHCP leases and find your pc mac to identify IP address Edited February 17 by blindspot Quote

There is no alternative wired port. Quote

All loaders does that, you wont see any more messages on the screen, whether it will go into kernel panic or it will work normally. Possible solutions: 0. Check your router admin web page in DHCP leases and find your pc MAC to identify IP address - access 192.168.0.1 from other PC/Laptop/Tablet 1. Install a LAN PCIe x1 card with Realtek or Intel Chipset 2. Some USB type-C or type-A to LAN card with Realtek chipset may also work. 3. RR-Loader has support for WIFI. Check loader config to setup wireless connection Use latest version 3a. Try other DS eg: DS3622 or SA6400 or DS1819 etc. 4. If none of the above work, you can install Proxmox and go with Virtual Machine. There are o lot of tutorials that can help you. Edited February 17 by blindspot Quote

neco Posted February 18 Author #10 Posted February 18 The network is apparently only connected during the startup phase and hides from the network when the web page is ready. Quote
Trabalhador Anonimo Posted February 25 #11 Posted February 25 M-Sheel is a loader with graphic interface. SA6400 is the most developed system for xpenology and it has a lot of drivers for network. The screen freezes as soon as DSM starts load and also the network card, every loader do that, but in about 60 seconds, if the network driver is loaded, network stats again. If your network card is not returning, leds blinking, most like there is no driver for that card. If you don' t have another to replace, go to virtualization - Proxmox or Windows + VirutalBox using passthrugh for yours HDDs Quote
neco Posted April 10 Author #12 Posted April 10 I installed realtek, but it can't seem to find the device! Quote
Trabalhador Anonimo Posted Sunday at 11:16 AM #13 Posted Sunday at 11:16 AM Ok, lets go back to the beginning. 1- remove all HDD living just only one in the box (only mechanical HDD, not SSD yet) and, if possible, clear the disk deleting everything (all partitions) on it; 2- download advanced IP scanner software and install on windows system; 2- download m-shell 1.0.x and do the process normally keeping realteck; 3- try to install DSM 7.1 with SA6400 model - most drivers developed so far; 4- look at your network card and wait to see: the lights will stop for about + - 60 seconds and should be return to blink; 5- use advanced IP scanner to find the new IP, most of the times it is different from what is shown on the frozen screen.
