Synology Photos 1.7 update

currently under DSM 7.1-42661 with it seems to me the tinycore-redpill.v0.8.0.0.img bootloader for DS918+ (apollolake), I would like to update the Synology Photos package to version 1.6 or 1.7
Is this possible without DSM update?
Is this possible without updating the bootloader?
If necessary, how can I identify and download the bootloader compatible with current and future DSM?
If necessary, how can I carry out the updates?

Which versions of DSM are compatible?

Could you answer the prerequisites and procedure for updating the synology photos package?
