2 drive Xpenology - Misplaced the Bootloader USB and now can't access data

BurningRanger

Question

Hi,

I have a 2 drive Xpenology instance I set up about 18-24 months ago. I was doing a house move and during the move I lost the USB stick containing the bootloader. I'm pretty sure it's running 6.x of the DSM and the disks were running in SHR

The disks contain some important information which I can't lose.

1. Is there anyway I can get the DSM running with a new Bootloader without losing data? I don't want to try to guess which bootloader it is, put something in and have it start overwriting the data on the disks.

2. How can I recover data on the disks with as little risk as possible?
