Running hp gen8 with old DSM 6.1.6-15266

Hi,

Have been running DSM 6.1.6-15266 with juns loader.

I will like to update , is there a easy way and keep the data.

Jun s loader is in a sd card using a hp gen8.

It has been running for 5 years. 

Please advise what to do.

Thanks, I havent update for years. Very insecure how to proceed. 

Download redpill’s preinstallation and recovery environment 24.11.13 write to a sd card, boot and try to reinstall.

Do you think is the right way?

Working fine. Having just one problem.

Unable to install "Surveillance video extension" is there a way to solve this?

wasn't there some deprecation/discontinuation of "Surveillance video extension" via 7.2.2?
