Advanced Media Extension using CPU or iGPU?

hello everyone,

since I using proxmox on my DSM, I could detach my iGPU and using somewhere else.

my question is, does iGPU used only for transcoding on synology Video or for read HEIC file in synology Photos?

since I am not watching film on my NAS, I think I can detach iGPU. but if convert AME using iGPU, I cant Detach it
