PC Speaker for degraded array?

Does XPEnology actually use the PC Speaker when the array degrades? You know to let the user(s) know there is a problem?


I have a PC speaker installed on my Proxmox / Xpenology build... and was doing a migration from 4TB disks to 14TB disks... Never once did I hear the PC speaker beeping to indicate a degraded array. 

Did I miss a discussion / patch about this?
