Hello,

I am facing a weird issue since yesterday. I created my NAS on bare metal with following details

* DSM version : 7.2.1-69057-5

* Loader: RR Loaded (rr-24.7.0)

* Model no: DS3622xs+

My NAS working perfect until 27th July late night. I turned off my NAS from DS finder on my android phone.

When I started my NAS on 28th July, the NAS booted up and I was greeted with the regular login screen, but after entering the credentials, I am got the following error

Quote

Unable to sign in to the system. Please try again later or contact <a href="https://account.synology.com/support" target="_blank">Synology Technical Support</a> if this problem persists.

I checked the network call, and the authentication call goes to https://192.168.1.100/webapi/entry.cgi?api=SYNO.API.Auth and its response is {"error":{"code":100},"success":false}.

Strangely I am still able to login via DS finder mobile app, but cannot open the DSM mobile page.

Can anyone please assist?
@mods, if this is not the appropriate place, please move it to the correct location

Update:
As per Synology document https://kb.synology.com/en-global/DG/DSM_Login_Web_API_Guide/2
100 is an unknown error code.

You can "reset" your admin login for your NAS by finding the reset button on the back (usually with a paperclip or other item), hold it down for 4 secs. until you hear a beep, then let it go.

Then login with: "admin" and hit enter on the password (no password required).

See here:
https://kb.synology.com/en-nz/DSM/tutorial/How_to_reset_my_Synology_NAS#x_anchor_id5

Mode 1: Reset administrator login credentials and network settings5

Locate the RESET button on your Synology NAS.6

Use a paper clip to gently press and hold down the RESET button for about 4 seconds until you hear a beep, and then release the button immediately.

Launch Web Assistant. Double-click on your Synology NAS. On the login page, enter the system default username admin, leave the password field blank, and click Sign In.

Create a strong password and click Submit.

Sign in to DSM with the username admin and the password that you have just created.7

Go to Control Panel > User > the User tab and double-click on the administrator account you want to use.

In the pop-up window, go to the Info tab and reset your password. Click OK.

Disable the admin account by first signing in with your administrator account, and then going to Control Panel > User > the User tab. Double click on admin and tick the Disable this account checkbox. Click OK.

The admin account status should now be Disabled.
