So far my searches aren't finding anything (other than some patches for Synolgoy's videostation app - but it still doesn't support 4K output), but I'm wondering if anyone is aware of a synology compatible app I can run on my xpeneology so that my N95 motherboard with integrated graphics can output the decoded (up to 4K) video signal direct to my TV as well as PASS THROUGH the audio bitstream so my soundbar can then do the audio decoding?
Currently I use an android box running CoreElec (KODI media player) to decode the video stream and output it to my LG TV, while it passes the audio bitstream to my soundbar. Since the NAS is on while watching anything I figure if I can play the video / output directly from the HDMI on the NAS motherboard to the TV I can then retire the android media player.
