rabside Posted July 7, 2024 #1 Posted July 7, 2024 Hi guys, I need you help Today I upgraded my 6.2 installation to 7.1 and then to 7.2 with arc loader. The process was smooth and I booted into the new system without any issue, so I verified the storage manager status and I saw a warning with a button to recheck the filesystem (I don't exactly remember the button label). I decided to reboot the NAS before rechecking the file system and now DSM can't mount my disks. Here you can see the messages (/var/log/messages) before and after the reboot; before: HPNas kernel: [ 28.865655] EXT4-fs (dm-0): warning: mounting fs with errors, running e2fsck is recommended after: HPNas kernel: [ 27.956759] EXT4-fs (md0): couldn't mount as ext3 due to feature incompatibilities HPNas kernel: [ 28.384060] EXT4-fs (sdd2): couldn't mount as ext3 due to feature incompatibilities Now I can only access via ssh. Do you have any ideas? thx a lot! Quote

rabside Posted July 9, 2024 Author #3 Posted July 9, 2024 Hi guys, just an update: After checking filesystem via cmd line, I mounted /dev/mapper/cachedev_0 on /volume1 and my data was there. But DSM doesn't automatically mount the partition (also after editing /etc/fstab). Do you have any suggestion on what can I do? Quote
