Mixed SATA SSD and Mechanical HDD

Hello, i was wondering if anyone tried to Create a pool using both Mechanical and SSD on the same pool (Both SATA, NOT Between NVME&SATA). 

Is this allowed by default and if not, is there any addons/ patch of Xpenology that let us do this.
