DudEParE Posted April 3 Share #1 Posted April 3 Hi, First of all. Apologies if I may have posted this in a wrong room. But my DS918+ is not stucked at "Screen will stop updating shortly" after updating. Is there a way for me to rollback the patch to 6.2-23739? I am currently using Jun's loader 1.04b. Hope you guys can help me. Thanks in advance. Thanks! DudEParE
rojoone2 Posted April 9 Share #2 Posted April 9 That update has not worked for many users and was not recommended for anyone to update to. Is there any reason you are still using DSM6.x.x? Are you using apps that only work on that version? If not, you may want to upgrade to DSM7 which has more security updates.
DudEParE Posted April 11 Author Share #3 Posted April 11 I actually tried to upgrade to DSM 7.x TCRP but after loading, it hangs in the loading kexec. tried different USB drive, but still have the same. I am actually using my old hardware which works with DSM 6.x. Procie; AMD Ryzen 3 3200g RAM: 2x8GB T-Force Delta Mobo: MSI B450M Maybe my hardware is not compatible with DSM 7.X? rojoone2 Posted April 11 Share #4 Posted April 11 Try Peter's version that is automated: https://github.com/PeterSuh-Q3/tinycore-redpill/releases You should also build a DS1621+ instead of the DS918 with the Ryzen processor.

DudEParE Posted April 13 Author Share #6 Posted April 13 Hi, @rojoone2 Good news, I am able to run DS1621+ with the latest version using Peter's version. However, I got bad news and hoping you might know a solution to this. Thanks in advance!

cosmic_observer Posted April 17 Share #8 Posted April 17 Hah I did the exact same things last night. Is it as simple as making a new boot loader with the latest DSM via arc and migrating? Is everything safe/easy? Any tips I should know before trying ? I’d like to use the same usb I used last time - is that possible ?

I used a different USB and cannot tell if it is ok to use the same USB.
