performance on old PC with differente NAS

Hi, I'v installed D3622xs on a Dell Optiplex with dual coreCPU 2.8Ghz and 8Gb RAM. I choosed DS3622 casually, so I would konw if would be better, in particular performance, if I choose another NAS type. At this time I use it for photo and doc backup with an average transfer speed of 4-5Mb/s, CUP and RAM at less 10%.
