kusik Posted January 30, 2024 #1 Posted January 30, 2024 Hello, I bought another nuc NUC5i3RYH and want to install DSM 7.2. I have there 120GB SATA SSD drive. So I burned ARC loader on the usb drive, boot it and click through it. Then it told me to navigate here: http://192.168.50.36:5000/ I have chosen pat file and wait until it installs. Then the nuc restarts, it boots using SATA drive not usb drive, the screen is black and the NUC is unresponsive. This is the waiting screen, which tells me there was some error after the 10 minutes. I don't know what to do. I noticed SATA DRive has 3 or two partitions on it, so I took it out connected to windows and delete all partitions. And tried again. It does not help, I tried also another devices DS something but it always ends with blank screen and unable to connect to it. Don't you know what could be wrong ? Quote

kusik Posted February 2, 2024 Author #3 Posted February 2, 2024 Thank you it worked. The correct way was to boot always from usb, even after installation. Thank you Quote
