Want to upgrade from DSM 6.0.2-8451 to DSM 7.1 or current stable version

I have been running DSM 6.0.2-8451 with Jun's V1.01 loader for a while. Any advice if I should upgrade and if yes what version is stable? Any suggestions will be appreciated. I want to run virtual machines but in the current version I cannot. That is the only reason I am looking to upgrade. The current version I am on is very stable and I love it.

 

Currently running DS3615xs Jun's Loader DSM 6.0.2-8451

Hardware is CPU INTEL Core i3-4130

 

Can i upgrade from the DSM 6.0.2-8451 to DSM 7.1? Any help would be appreciated.
