Adding new hard drives?

Hi,

 

I've been running a headless install on a Gen 8 HP Microserver and i have run into a issue.

 

I have a single HD of 4tb installed and yesterday i inserted another drive of the same size and it has shown up in the storage manager and yet the total storage size remains as if only one hard drive is inserted.

 

It seems that it has turned into a SHR with data protection when i expanded the volume to include the new disk.

 

My question is what can i do to so that i have the total space available rather than a raid system?

you will have to backup your system then wipe the shr and create a jbod
