Done. NVMe support added (nvme module loaded at boot)

 

- iSCSI works (block and files)

- Add NVMe support

- Update mpt3sas, aacraid

XPEnology installs and works but it only sees 6 of the 7 HDD's. I grabbed this info from the system with the Thecus DOM installed which can see all 7 HDD's

 

Thecus N7710

please, help.. i have supertrack ex8530 it's checked as compatible, but cant'n insnall xpeno on sata drive attached to. how to load kernel driver? thank you!

I have a Dell Optiplex 7010, with Integrated Intel® 82579LM Ethernet LAN 10/100/1000

Current XPEnoboot 5.2-5644.4, DSM 5.2-5644 DS3615xs Update 3

 

It will only currently connects at 10/100...will not connect at 1000Mbps, could you please help?

[[sOLVED]] - Turns out the switch was bad, swapped it out, all is rocking' now, included the updated BRCM drivers for my NetExtreme II card, gotta love it! :razz:

Always same problem with my WLAN dongle ASUS USB-N13 listed in the Synology Compatibility list ...

 

Detected but find any in the WLAN environment

Hi guys, i am going to build another Xpenology machine. However, my motherboard has a build in Intel NIC (Intel® I219V). I was wondering will it be supported in current version of XPEnoboot 5.2-5644.5?

Afaik, intel nics have the best linux support. So, there is a high chance that Xpenology supports it as well.

Hi,

 

i need help on how i can able to use the highpoint rocketraid sas controller 2680SGL xpenoboot doesnt recognize any drive and prompts me to install drives before entering, although in boot up upon powering on of the desktop it detects all the drives

Hi again. I have create raid0 from only one HDD attached to ex8350 controller. Install dsm by 5644.5 xpenoboot. HDD/SSD table show disk model 1+0 raid. Is it only way to use raid controller? Can I manage HDDs attached to my raid controller by DSM?

since many new cpus (N3700 Braswell for ex.) cannot be used at the maximum performances with acpi_freq,

can you compile intel_pstate module in the next release?

I would like to try if it will raise correctly.

Possible to add this to KERNEL options in future release please ?

[*] Support for intel IOMMU using DMA Remapping Devices

[*] Enable Intel DMA Remapping Devices by Default

 

Need this for doing passthrough with virtualbox.
