Drivers requests for DSM 5.2

Recommended Posts

For building a kernel I found that page, but I'm not sure if it still works with DSM 5.x, cause the step-by-step is quiet old.

And for installing kernel modules: http://hallard.me/how-to-install-kernel ... 0-dsm-4-1/

I haven't tried both yet.

Honestly, I wait for Xpenboot 5.2 and will see how my hardware will work. I still can try to add kernel modules later

Hi,

Any way to support Nec USB 3.0 Driver - to be precisely Sunrich Technology U-550 with Renesas uPD720200, OEM Fujitsu s26361-d2971-a10

Xpenology is not recognizing it at all, not even USB 2.0

http://plugable.com/drivers/renesas

Linux
Driver code is in drivers/usb/host/xhci*.

Kernel driver code was first provided in kernel 2.6.31.
Kernel driver stable in kernel 3.0 and later

drivers in windows system working very well

I've searched the forums and have not been able to see if the HighPoint RocketRaid 27x0 series is supported yet. They all use the Marvell 9485 SAS/SATA 6Gb/s chip. Typically on Linux I've had to build a driver for it, but wondering if it can be added to future versions of XPEnoboot. I personally don't need it yet, but once I outgrow the 4 onboard sata ports of my Dell PowerEdge T20 that is my planned card.

I just want to say that there is a driver in the current XPEnoboot called mvsas which does seem to work ok with this card. Normally we want a rr27x0_XX.ko driver as the mvsas has had trouble with losing communication with drives in the past. I am uncertain if this problem still exists.
